What can and cannot be shared through Semuko and Glowsake, how to report a problem, and what we do about it.
Effective [effective date]
This summary helps you find your way. The full policy below is what applies.
This policy applies to everyone who uses Semuko: the studios (photographers, photo booths, DJs, videographers, planners, venues and other businesses) who create galleries and pages, and the clients and guests who open them.
It covers everything published or shared through Semuko and Glowsake: client galleries and photos, portfolios, studio sites on glowsake.com, stories, vendor packs, booth reports, glsk.to short links and QR codes, the Glowsake app, comments and messages.
Studios are responsible for what they upload and publish. This policy is part of the Semuko Terms of Service (including its acceptable use rules) and the Glowsake Terms of Use.
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexualization of minors are never allowed. This includes real, edited, drawn or AI-generated images or videos, captions or poses that sexualize anyone under 18, and any attempt to groom, sexually solicit or traffic a child.
When we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material, we:
Ordinary family and event photography with children (a newborn session, a birthday, a team photo) is welcome. Galleries with children must stay private to the family, and a gallery marked Sensitive must never include anyone under 18.
Boudoir, implied nudity and other intimate work made with consenting adults is allowed, with these rules:
If you are not sure whether a gallery should be marked Sensitive, mark it.
Upload only work you created or have permission to use. If you believe something on Semuko infringes your copyright, the fastest route is a DMCA notice to our designated agent, described in section 13 of the Semuko Terms. For trademark concerns, use the Report link or email helpme@semuko.com. We remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
People at Semuko review reports. Depending on how serious the problem is, the context and the account’s history, we may:
We can skip straight to a later step for serious harm. Hiding content for review does not mean we have decided the studio did something wrong.
Use the Report link on any gallery, photo viewer, portfolio, studio site, story, vendor pack, booth report or glsk.to page, or in the Glowsake app. You do not need an account. You can also email helpme@semuko.com with the link.
If you are the person shown in an intimate image shared without your consent (or you act for them), use the Report link and choose "Intimate imagery shared without consent", or email helpme@semuko.com with the subject "Removal request", the link, and a statement that the image was shared without consent. We act on these requests quickly, and within 48 hours of a valid request.
If we hide a photo or gallery, you will see "Hidden by Semuko pending review" on the gallery in Semuko with an Appeal button, and we will email the account owner. Nothing is deleted while we review. Tell us why you think the decision is wrong and we will review it again and email you the result.
Decisions about child sexual exploitation are not reviewed through in-app appeals. Write to helpme@semuko.com if you believe we made a mistake.
We may update this policy as the law and our services change. We post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell studios about important changes.
